Professional Profile

Currently serving as Fleet Maintenance Staff at PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), while also acting as Owner Surveyor on vessel dry-docking projects.

The work scope includes joint pre-docking surveys with shipyards and vessel crews, assisting BKI classification surveys, and verifying completed repairs against approved technical specifications and applicable class requirements.

Experienced in main and auxiliary engine monitoring, Top Overhaul / General Overhaul, sea-valve and propeller-shaft systems, technical troubleshooting, and docking budget control. Career development focus: applying machinery and classification-interface experience to design review and drawing approval.

02

Workflow & Work Scope

My day-to-day work is built around two priorities: leading the docking process on behalf of the shipowner and maintaining fleet machinery condition to keep vessels serviceable and compliant with class requirements.

Applications & Digitalization

Beyond field work, my role has two digital sides: using SAP — the company ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system where budgets, procurement, and cost actuals are recorded — as the cost-control path for technical work, and building an in-house application that keeps branch administration in order: vessel data, docking schedules, class surveys, budgets, and procurement document generation.

SAP GUI / TECHNICAL COST CONTROL

Technical work cost control in SAP

SAP is the Enterprise Resource Planning system the company uses to record budgets, procurement, and costs. I work in it through SAP GUI transaction codes to trace the budget – commitment – actual path of maintenance and docking work: linking technical needs, procurement commitments, completed work, and cost reporting.
